The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is finally available! It’s been about two months since the next generation Nexus was announced and the anticipation could not be cut with a chainsaw since. The Galaxy Nexus has been made available as of the December 15th for the low, low price of $300 on a set of new terms covering two years. So what should you expect for such a highly priced device? Well in a word, awesomeness! The Galaxy Nexus sports a super sleek and palm fitting curved design that is built around a Super AMOLED HD touch screen that measures in at 4.65 inches and rocks a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. Additionally the Galaxy Nexus uses the latest and most advanced version of the Android operating system version 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich. With a pure vanilla Android set up you can expected a super fast and snapper user interface thanks to its 1.2 GHz dual core TI OMAP 4460 processor. This amazing CPU is backed by an internal graphics processor, 1GB of internal RAM and 32GB of internal memory. You can also expect a 5 mega pixel rear facing camera with LED flash that comes with auto focus, digital zoom, geo tagging, white balance correction and even a panorama setting. With this camera you can also record video in full 1080p HD at 30 frames per second. An additional front facing 1.3 mega pixel camera is also available for all yourself portraits and video conferencing needs. Other connectivity details you can expect are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/a, Hotspot functionality, micro USB 2.0, HDMI, NFC, MHL and Bluetooth 3.0. The Galaxy Nexus is also an LTE phone with super fast 4G data speeds. Other coolness coming to the world via the Galaxy Nexus include Android Beam which is the new way to share at super fast speeds, Face Unlock which will allow for maximum security and even ‘voice typing’. All in all the Galaxy Nexus may be the only phone you’ll ever need…for now!
